Islamic State terrorists (IS) have launched an offensive on Kurds' positions in the village of Hassajek in northern Aleppo after alleged airstrikes by the US-led coalition, a Kurdish militia source said Wednesday. "IS militants have launched offensives on the positions of Kurdish militia in Hassajek following the coalition's airstrikes. The attacks were thwarted, but clashes are ongoing to the south of the village," the source told RIA Novosti. According to the source, the village is also being attacked from the north by the Free Syrian Army militants. The Russian center for Syrian reconciliation said Tuesday it had received local reports of an airstrike, allegedly by Belgian F-16 fighter jets on Hassajek, resulting in six people killed and at least four wounded.
