Il presidente russo, Vladimir Putin e il suo omologo turco Recep Tayyip Erdogan discuteranno dell’ampliamento del progetto di gasdotto Turkish Stream e della costruzione dell’impianto nucleare di Akkuyu a margine del G20 in programma ad Amburgo. Lo ha riferito uno dei più stretti collaboratori del presidente Putin, Yuri Ushakov che ha sottolineato i recenti progressi fatti dalle parti rispetto ad entrambi i dossier. Del gasdotto Turkish Stream Putin parlerà anche con il presidente della Commissione europea, Jean-Claude Juncker. La questione delle forniture di gas all’Europa – ha sottolineato Ushakov - potrebbero rappresentare una prospettiva per la ripresa del dialogo tra la Russia e l’Ue.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will discuss the implementation of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline project and the construction of the Akkuyu nuclear power plant in Turkey on the sidelines of the G20 summit, Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov said Monday. The G20 summit will be held in Germany's Hamburg on July 7-8. "In Hamburg, the presidents will discuss the progress in the construction of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline under the Black Sea and the first Turkish nuclear power plant Akkuyu with Russian participation," Ushakov told reporters in Moscow. "A significant progress has been recently made in the implementation of both projects," Ushakov added. Russian President Vladimir Putin and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker will discuss the Nord Stream-2 project and gas supplies to Europe via the Turkish Stream pipeline on the sidelines of the upcoming G20 summit, Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov said Monday. "It is planned to discuss the Nord Stream-2 project and gas supplies to Europe through the Turkish Stream, as well as prospects for the resumption of the EU-Russia energy dialogue," Ushakov told reporters. The G20 summit will be held in Germany's Hamburg on July 7-8.
